The final episode, the haunted hotel, and salt fever are my favorites by a small margin. I thought those were okay, less memorable though. Other taking heaving inspiration on parodying movies like Mad Max. It's literally just a fun small road trip with every episode having a little theme, some more original than others. It was over in a flash, every episode is around 5 minutes or so, you could watch the whole season in an hour. But it's kept very simple and obviously adults aren't the target audience for this, that said I still liked it. The trailer follows the pair as they travel east to the wedding of Maters sister. Only really the last one has some emotional value to it. Lightning McQueen and Mater are on a cross-country adventure in the first trailer for Disney/Pixars 'Cars on the Road,' premiering September 8 on Disney+. Now most of the show is just fun, though everyone of them tries to tell a small story, or life lesson of sorts. He's even a bit more toned down here versus something like Cars 2. Mater and McQueen are the main characters here and I think they are balanced well, some people might dislike Mater but I think he's totally fine. But generally it had this lovely look to it we all know and love from Pixar. This Lightning McQueen coloring page collection is a great addition to our list of Disney coloring pages.

The animation is right on par with the movies, here with some great scenes, loved the carnival scenes and the directing and editing during the haunted house episode. Each of these included free Lightning McQueen coloring pages was gathered from around the web. This really short show, which might otherwise be seen as Cars shorts, is really enjoyable. When Doc tricked Lightning McQueen by challenging him to a race, Doc had Mater come along with him so he can help McQueen after the latter had fallen into a cactus pit. I love the cars universe, so any more of that and I'm game. Really just popped up on my Disney+ and had no idea this was being made nor has released, but it came as a pleasant surprise.
